    Starting Custard (or Sugar) Apple Seeds 1. Seed Germination Temperature Is Best @ 30-35°C (85-95°F) 2. Carefully Cut Or File The Pointed Tips Off All Seed Shells Before Soaking. Do Not Damage The Internal White Seed Germ! 4. Soak For 4 Days In Jar With Clean Chlorine Free Water 5. Lay The Seeds On Wet Paper Towels Or Toilet Paper 6. Sprinkle With Cinnamon Powder Which Is A Natural Fungicide & Antibacterial Agent 7. Cover And Wrap Into A Folded Up Package Or Place Back In Jar With Water 8. Place In Glass Jar With Tight Lid 9. If Water Becomes Cloudy, Drain And Refill With Fresh Water 10. Store In Dark Warm Area Such As Inside Kitchen Cabinet With No Light 11. After Seeds Sprout, Carefully Remove Outer Shell Before Planting 12. As Soon As Root Starts To Emerge Plant Pointed End (Root) Down 13. After 1 Month, Remove Shells From Seeds That Have Not Sprouted 14. Continue To Keep Moist With Damp Paper Towel Or By Water Immersion 15. Discard Unsprouted Seeds After 4 Months 16.       Leaves turning yellow indicates either too much water or too less water. Water only when the top one inch soil gets dry.

    Thank you my grandson who’s 3 had a nectarine 🍑 for the first time with me and loved it and he asked what the pit was and I told him and he said I want to plant it. Well he has no sense of time and wouldn’t wait so he just planted the entire pit lol. I’m going to do this and then when it starts growing tell him I put it in a container until it gets bigger so he can think he did it. He will be so happy because he said these are delicious!!!

      @@GardenTricks he loves it! All my grands do! They mostly pick my strawberries and raspberries but they also love planting seeds and picking out plants. I’m so glad they enjoy it and hope it continues as they get older they are all under 6 years old

    I put mine in a closed zip lock and hammer it or use a rock. I don't hit it too hard. The baggy stops fragments from flying everywhere. I don't have a pool noodle. 😂

    You cut off the part about too much watering. Also i couldn't understand the last 4 words before you cut off. You said too much watering will cause "'something something" what will it cause?

      It grows well if its roots are pot-bound, that is crowded in pot. Too much water may drop new buds and thorn will develop in its place.

      @@GardenTricks I planted a bunch of seeds and water it 2xs a day. 1 big one is growing (yesterday measured round 19 inches round) there are 3 growing but they are so small. I guessing the big one is taking all the nutrients. Any tips to get the other ones to grow bigger?

      @@NewYorksFinest1 19 inch is a very good size. You are correct, all the energy is being taken up by the bigger one. You may pick up the fruit when the stem at the point where it is attached is turning brown. You may cut one smaller one so that the other smaller fruit can get some energy to grow.
